FUNDING
AYS receives funding from individual donors, small businesses and corporate and foundation grants.

BUDGET
The Alton Youth Symphony budget includes funding for scholarships, contractual agreements for the manager, directors, and sectional coaches, music, trasportation, office supplies and insurance.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
As an aid and incentive for youth musicians, AYS provides numerous scholarships to participating orchestra members for private music lessons and to the University of Illinois Summer Youth Music Camp.
